John Madden is supposed to have said "winning is great deodorant." Whether he did or not is beside the point; it's a great quote, and the Packers could use some deodorant in a big way.
Look, we all know the Packers have issues right now. It's a long list! The quarterback has a bad thumb and isn't reading defenses well. The Packers' wide receivers are banged up. Their running backs aren't getting the ball. The offensive line is offensive to watch. The defense doesn't seem interested in stopping the ground game and isn't being allowed to play to its strengths against the pass.
You know all this, and all these things would still be present even if the Packers had eked out wins against the Giants and Jets. But the deodorant of a win or two would give the Packers some cover while they tried to sort things out. In 2019, 2020, and (to a lesser extent) in 2021, they managed to scape out close wins that gave them the cover they needed while they fixed their problems.
